We contacted Precision to fix a problem we had with our door staying open. Called on a Sunday and Nicholas was there on Monday morning. The door required an adjustment. We were totally prepared to be charged with a service call and were very surprised when there was no charge. No wonder they have so many awards! I would definite recommend Precision.

First, why did I call Precision? When I saw that my garage door spring was broken all I could think about was that commercial you run with the sound of the spring breaking. Yep, that's me now. I called on a Sunday morning with the intentions of getting a Monday repair but to my surprise, Precision had a tech working Sunday and he could be at my house that afternoon. So far so good. He arrives, and before he tries to sell anything we have a nice chat about my system, how it works and what problems to look for. After showing me assorted issues with my garage door he replaced both springs, end rod bearings and the steel cables on both ends. Was it cheap? Nope, but I would rather pay the going rate for good service one time than pay less and have to have the problem come back. In the end the system was repaired by someone who knew what he was doing and I have had no problems with the door since that day.

I was comparing companies and narrowed my choice down to two. Ultimately, I went with Precision. Precision's website is easy to navigate and they offer a chat now option. I chatted with Jason online and within 30 minutes of scheduling my appointment online through the chat with Jason my tech arrived. Christian was great and thorough. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Christian explained all repairs in detail. Christian also didn't try to over sell or push me into any items or services I didn't need. Within an hour my garage door is running better than ever! John was my technician who came to the house today. luckily I got him again. he has been out to my house 3 previous times to help myself as well as my neighbor. he is a wonderfu,l polite and professional. Today John have no assistant named Josh H who was equally polite, wonderful and professional. I will always request Jon as well as Josh to do any repairs should I need any in the future. My only complaint is that Angie's list has been purchased by Home Advisors and I don't like the way they do business.

I heard the advertisement for Precision on the Joy FM so I knew when I have a problem in the future,that's who I'd call. Today was the day I needed Precision and they came through... my springs broke and they provided same day service, quick, professional service at a fair price... I wish I could give Precision 10 stars instead of 5. We had trouble with our garage door over the weekend and called Precision mid morning on Monday. Precision had not originally installed the door, but had done some work on it for us last year. David C., a technician, came to our house about 3 hours later. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly, replaced some parts, and was finished in 45 minutes. Then he explained what he had done and what he had replaced. He also showed me how to lubricate the hinges and springs once a year, and gave me a spray container of liquid grease to do it. There was no cost - he said everything was under warranty. He thanked me for our business, and told me that Precision's policy is to make all customers happy and their garage doors work properly. As a retired business owner myself (in an unrelated industry), I couldn't agree more with that policy - and I saw the policy in action when David did the excellent work for us. I told him I would gladly recommend Precision to friends, neighbors, and family - or anyone.

The conversation started a little negative and shaky...demeanor of tech was not the most positive. But, after assessing the problem with the garage door everything change miraculously. My door was serviced 8-9 months previously and the tech did NOT make me aware of ALL the issues. So, to make it right the company turned on the warranty clause and fixed all past problems for "free" saving me over $1100 dollars, while fixing the new problem at a very fair price. I don't think or believe another garage company would do this. Kudo's to the management and the techs did an awesome job. I feel secure in knowing the work/service is under a 5 year warranty!!!
