Had a complete door hardware rebuild performed, springs, bearings, shaft, cables, etc. Tech was Jimmy Johnson, who performed his duties as a well trained and informative person. Jimmy was prompt and solved the problem with my garage door. He also noticed my doors were very dry and gave them both a good oil spray. I couldn't believe how quickly he repaired the door! Outstanding response, Service beyond compare, and competitive pricing! This morning when I went to open the garage door, I found that the spring was broken. I called a few different places to find that not only were Precision Overhead Garage Door Service available to come out today, but their pricing was very fair. They sent out Jimmy Johnson, a fantastic technician that did a great job of explaining the situation, and giving me options when he was done, he explained how to take better care of our door, so this happens less often. I wish everyone I did business with would give me this type of service and then teach me how to avoid needing them in the future. I recommend this company to everyone!!! Save time and call them first.

Jimmy was an absolute professional!!! His van was very organized and clean, had a fully stocked van, and had everything he needed to complete multiple jobs on my garage door. He was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing so I could understand the importance of what he was doing. By the time he was done, didn’t even recognize my door!!! It was so quiet that you could only hear the garage door opener motor!! Great job and extremely professional!!!

Only submitted this review because we got an e-mail requesting it... We requested a quote to have a broken spring repaired on our seven year old home. We asked several folks in our neighborhood with similar home models how much they paid for the same repair. The answers varied from $200 - $470. After receiving other quotes, Precisions quote came in at over $1,800! That's almost four times the price of the next highest quote that we received ($460). Further, the technician insisted on rebuilding our entire garage door system because Precision doesn't Wayne Dalton parts. Huge waste of our time and Precision's gas to drive out. Not only that, the technician insisted that we lift our 230lbs garage door so that he wouldn't need to pass through the house. Mind you, I'm a disabled-veteran. Highly-unprofessional - avoid! Our large neighborhood community group got a pretty good laugh out of the quote. Suppose I should have the VA bill Precision for my next chiropractors appointment.

Excellent work by Jimmy Johnson; quick, thorough and informative. He diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced the necessary parts and readjusted brackets where necessary. When completed he reset the remotes and explained use and how to maintain the garage parts for maximum preservation. Also, great personality. I would definitely recommend Precision Door Service.
