IT WAS SUNDAY MORNING. WENT OUT TO GET THE PAPER. PUSHED THE OVERHEAD DOOR BUTTON. OPENED 6" THEN CLOSED. TRIED AGAIN AND AGAIN. NO LUCK. PULLED RELEASE TO MANUALLY OPEN AND COULD ONLY OPEN IT 2 FT. JUST ABOUT BROKE MY BACK. WENT ONLINE AND FOUND PRECISION. CALLED AND GOT AMY WHO WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. SHE SIAD SHE WOULD GET SOMEONE OUT TO MY HOUSE BETWEEN 1 AND 5 PM. BEN ELLIOT SHOWED UP A LITTLE AFTER ONE AND FOUND I HAD A BROKEN SPRING. HE WAS VERY PROFESSI0NAL AND DID THE REPAIR IN A SPEEDY MANNER. WORKS FINE AND I AM VERY SATISFIED. If you have a broken garage door spring, you are trapped! Precision came out first thing on Sunday morning and not only replaced the springs, but inspected the door and highlighted a couple other issues - worn bearings, frayed cables, and inadequate attachments of the opener to the door. All were corrected, the entire door was adjusted, lubed, and tested. Tom, the technician, made sure the opener limits were reset to adjust for the new attachments. The technician was knowledgeable and thorough, and explained everything to me carefully and answered all my questions.
