Called to have service done on our single car garage door as it was just sounding "tired" and in need of some TLC. The tech walked me through the issues he found and what it was going to take to repair the worn our parts, as well as walking me through the prices for everything. He was very thorough with what needed to be done and made it very easy for me to understand why certain parts needed to be replace. Doug did a GREAT job and was in, and out, in less than one hour. When my garage door would not open after a power outage, I was impressed that Doug came the same day and the problem was easily remedied. When I originally had the garage door opener installed it worked fine and very quietly. A noise developed when opening the door. Doug (the tech) immediately recognized the problem and very professionally and politely repaired the door. He also gave excellent advice on how to avoid the problem in the future. As is always the case, our garage door spring broke on a Friday night. I doubted that I would be able to get a company to repair it over the weekend but I called Precision thinking it would be Monday. They were extremely courteous in answering late on a Friday and setup repair service for Saturday late morning. The technician, Doug Naporano, arrived when promised, assessed the damage and also made two other recommendations which were sensible. Doug performed the repairs in a very thorough and unhurried manner and then made certain to have me verify with him that it was working as we desired. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY AROUND!!! Doug arrived ahead of schedule. Very friendly, courteous and thoroughly professional. We needed new springs, rollers and bearings. There was NO ATTEMPT TO UP-SELL US INTO MORE THAN WE NEEDED! The difference in performance was obvious and our experience with Precision was one of the most positive we've ever had with any home repair provider. The "Angie's List Discount" was significant and much appreciated. There may be cheaper prices in the marketplace, but there is no better product or service than Precision.
