He fixed my problem, but then I had him do preventive measures by replacing worn garage springs which would eventually break (one was very warped and worn). ARNOLD SIMPSON was a 5 star service technician. He arrived promptly and advised he was able to assist with my original request for a replacement remote for a very old opener and program it as well as the unit didn't have a program button and the original opener left with a car. More importantly he inspected the entire system and pointed out some deficiencies that I was not aware of and had them attended to. A very friendly and understanding man who helped me understand in a non-technical level. I would highly recommend this company.

Appointment was made and on time. Technician was polite. Seemed to have no idea what the problem was initially. Asked lots of questions as to wether I'd spoken to other repair companies. Came back after investigating and said it was a broken spring. I couldn't believe I'd never noticed it split in two before, much less a trained technician! Said it was $540 for springs that work and $240 plus tax for another part I needed. Presented it in a trained sales technique I should never have fallen for. I thought it was high, but didn't know and wanted to get it done so said yes. I looked up what it really should have cost ( $200-$300) I paid $760 after a 'coupon' he applied when I said I was paying way too much. I was totally ripped off by your company!....More fool me, but I will definitely not use you again or recommend you.....unless the extremely expensive springs under a 5 yr warranty break?

Thank you Precision for another great service, This is the second house I have had you replace the garage door drive units in and can't believe how quiet the belt driven units are compared to the worm screws.Your technician, Arnold Simpson, was very efficient and knew all parts of the job,including reprogramming the opener in my car. Both times I have had excellent service and had no issues with the doors in 4 years that I owned the previous house.

He gave me three repair choices with the price plan, answered my quesfions not pushing one plan over another. Gave me estimated times for completion and met them. Also, three methods of payment. Was not a difficult problem to solve.

When I made the appointment, we were very please that the girl waived the service fee charge to come out for an estimate due to a coupon she found. They say free estimate but that’s only if you accept the quote and get service done. No service, you pay a fee for them to come out to you. So technically, no free estimate. The tech came to our home right on time. He was friendly and informative. Although he started mentioning repairs we didn't even think we needed, but what do we know about garage doors? He quoted us an estimate way higher than expected, I’m assuming due to the extra repairs. We declined service and thanked him. He told us he needed to collect a service fee. We explained that when I made the appointment, the fee was waved, otherwise I wouldn’t of made the appointment. The tech told us how he collects the fee and the fee wasn’t supposed to be waved and shouldn’t have been waved. I called the company. They got it cleared up and told the tech not to collect the fee. We could tell the tech was annoyed. Not at us, but by the appointment maker. He apologized and explained again how they aren’t supposed to do that. I felt bad but that’s what I was told, therefore I’m not paying. We are going to search other companies. Seems their communication or something isn’t right. The whole visit just felt off which is another reason we declined.

I called because my garage door opener quit working. They sent someone out to repair the opener based on my schedule but the opener could not be repaired so the technician reviewed several options to solve the problem. The service was completed in a timely manner by a very courteous technician.
