Had a problem with an old Genie garage door opener. Found that the motor was bad and had to replace it. The technician was very professional and personable and represented Precision perfectly. He didn’t hesitate to replace the opener and rollers right on the spot and cleaned up after all work was completed. The great thing is his work was warranted for 5years.

Christopher Enlow was Great !!! Chris helped me diagnose the issue I had hearing a "cluncking" sound after lots of usage with my door opener. Chris determined that my "rail" needed replacing which resulted in a very quiet and smooth opening and closing operation. Not only that, Chris did a follow-up making sure I did not have any other issues. I feel very comfortable calling Precision Garage Doors and have recommended them to my family, friends and clients! I had a very disappointing experience with Precision Garage Door Service. The technician who came out quoted me an outrageous $3,190 to replace my garage motor, claiming that my springs were also bad. He said if I only wanted to replace the springs, it would cost $1,490 for the springs and a bracket. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion from another company, and I’m so glad I did. The second company quickly diagnosed the real issue—it wasn’t even the motor! The problem was solved by simply lubricating the springs and removing a bolt that had caused the system to jam. They fixed everything for just $145. Needless to say, Precision was trying to scam me. I would not recommend them to anyone, as they were dishonest and attempted to take advantage of the situation. Beware and always get a second opinion!

The whole experience was pretty easy from start to finish. Basically I couldn't get my car out of the garage because the spring had broken ( solid garage door considering it had been installed in 2000). I called to set up an appointment for the next day (borrowed a friend's car for 24 hrs!) and the tech showed up as scheduled and called first as promised. The technician-Chris E-explained what the issues were, what was more pressing to repair and made a few suggestions for further consideration. I asked my friend to come over ( for moral support! ) and Chris patiently went over everything again. I decided to go with Chris' full plan because in the end, I felt it was better to keep the door in good working condition for as long as possible. Even though, I hate spending money...I felt like this company was trustworthy and I got a 7 year warranty. They also had different payment options to choose from which made life easy.

I really appreciate the quality of the work that Precision Garage Door Service does. They come out quickly, and they are professional as well as being technically skilled in everything they do. Chris came today and explained everything that we needed to get our garage door to open because the springs were no longer functioning. Two years ago they replaced our garage door opener, and it works really well. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

I chose Precision Overhead Garage Door because we have used them in past years and they have proven to be very reliable! It is easy to get a same day appointment. Once, in time of dire need, they came to my assistance when my garage door would not open and I was trying to get to a doctors' appointment on time. The professional who assisted me this past Monday was friendly, courteous, and professional. He explained in detail the things that required replacement immediately as well as the things that would eventually have to be replaced in the future.
