The appointment happened the same day I called. Alex, the tech, was very professional and explained what he was doing and updating me regarding the condition of our garage door opener. He used the existing new keypad to sync with the garage door opener and also added bolts to the garage door and the opener.

I have used Precision Garage Door Services a couple of times before today. The service representatives have always been knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Travis Prescott continues that tradition. He performed a "Pre-Hurricane tune-up" on the door, and now it opens and closes more quietly than ever. He even helped me set up an application on my cellphone so that I can open or close the door from my phone! That's going the extra mile. My garage door needed one tension cable either replaced or rewound. Technician was excellent and was on site a little less than an hour. The service call was $189.95 -expensive but not unreasonable. I was then charged $ 255.00 for two 7 foot cables that retail for around $25.00.-- This is not only unreasonable but needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau to warn consumers. To add insult to the situation they added another $20 for fuel for the service vehicle. I'm sure this won't show up on their web site but at least I gave it a try.

Precision installed a hurricane rated garage door. We were generally pleased with the company and the product. However, there were two installation issues. The bottom wall brackets supporting the tracks were mounted in the wrong location. More importantly, the tech neglected to check the auto-reversing safety features. These items led to the failure of the city inspection. Precision returned and corrected the problems and a second inspection passed.
