We chose Precision based upon the customer reviews we found on Angies List. Our main garage door opener stopped functioning suddenly and was making very loud noises. Frank Soto arrived later the same day to assess the problem. He was able to determine that the old spring on the door was not holding up the door properly causing the motor to have to strain to deal with the weight which eventually caused it to fail. We were offered the option to simply fix the parts that were broken but as the opener was already 12 years old we elected to replace the opener along with new springs, cables etc. for the door. We also had him check out our other door which only gets infrequent use. That door was unbalanced so we had him replace that spring and main bearing as well but elected to keep the current opener for now. We felt very confident that Frank's assessment and plan for our doors was the best option. He was unfailingly courteous and informative.

When I contacted Precision Door the lady that answered the phone was very polite and helpful. When Jimmy came out he was honest and straight to the point and did not beat around the bush. I told him what I could afford and he worked very well with it. I have a lot going on in my life right now and didn’t know how I was going to afford this. It was nice to see there are still some honest people in this world and I will defiantly call them back when I have problems again. Also to Jimmy's boss you should give the man a raise. Jimmy Johnson deserves a five star rating. He was prompt as well as early, was knowledgeable and gave a clear explanation of our options to resolve our problem. His truck was fully equipped to complete an efficient and satisfactory end to the burned out door opener as well as repair the rollers on the garage door which could have caused the overload. Before leaving, he also reprogramed the opener responder in out car. We have had a good experience with Precision Garage Doors thanks to Jimmy Johnson. Please give him a big raise!

Frank Soto your employee was excellent. His explanation of our problem was right on. There was not a question that he did not answer. His work habits and cleaning up was excellent. He explained the working of the new opener to the point that a child could operate the unit. We would ask for him if we were to need Precision ever again We now have the complete unit New door and a new opener. Thank You Rocco

1) Unlike most Florida businesses, Precision called twice on the day of my garage door maintenance to inform me of: first when they would arrive (2) to tighten the time bracket to allow me to do errands. 2) The tech was well informed, courteous, and skilled. He examined my 15 year old system, told me what the problem is that prohibits the door from operating well and options with estimates of the repair or replacement. 3) Have no way to currently compare, but I would allow that the prices quoted were reasonable. 4) Tech left the area clean. Programmed all handheld remotes. I would highly recommend Precision to relatives, friends and associates.

Hired Precision to repair a garage door on a home we're under contract for. Apparently the garage door needs to open to meet FHA standards. Our technician (Carlos) replaced the springs, cables and lubricated the tracks. He was relatively fast, courteous and helpful. Did I mention he did all this in a home with no power? Thanks guys!
