I've been with Precision Garage Doors for many years. They are a well-run company employing great, knowledgeable service technicians. They respond quickly to their customers and provide expert service. I recently had them install two new hurricane strength garage doors and the two technicians were excellent. The doors they provided are well-built and worth every penny spent. I would highly recommend this Company.

This started as a call to the company requesting information regarding the installation of the rubber foot on my garage door. The person with whom I spoke advised me that there was a $49.95 charge for the service call unless work was performed, and that the foot ran from ~$8.00 - $11.00, installed. There was NO discussion of ANY other charges. When the installer arrived, he advised me that the correct part was on the truck and the cost would be around $115.00, that stated $115.00, exactly. When I started to break down the cost, he informed me that the cost included 1) a trip charge and 2) a fuel surcharge. I immediately told hm that these charges had NEVER been mentioned before and that I would NOT have the work done and that, furthermore, I would not pay the $49.95, because the additional charges had NEVER been disclosed. To his credit, the technician called the office ON HIS OWN and presented a resolution that was more than acceptable. The issue here is the clear and complete communication of ALL charges at the initial contact and NOT surprising people on site.

I called Precision Overhead Doors on Oct. 4th. The technician Charles Sherword arrived the next day as per their appointment, Charles inspected the doors and noted the rollers were in poor condition which was the cause of the noise and slow operation. Charles gave me the cost to replace the existing rollers with new nylon rollers. After one hour the door was complete and operating like new. Charles was very polite and professional. I would highly recommend Precision Overhead Door,

Arnold Simpson did an awesome job creatively solving a problem with a spring that was too strong for my too light door. He was on time, creative, competent, friendly, and professional. He said he’s worked for Precision for 13 years and they “are a great company”. I have to agree with him. Cody did an excellent job. He provided the correct information for me to make a decision as to the repairs. I understood my options and I am confident I made the right decision. The final $$ was more than I originally planned but my garage door should give me many years of service. I replaced the bearings, springs and the rollers. The door and hardware were at 17 years of life.
