Initially I called to have a strut repaired. After examining the door with Frank the Tech, we agreed that the repair was necessary as well as replacement of the bearings, cables, pulleys, springs and various other components. The parts carry a 5 year warranty. A full garage door replacement carries a 3 year warranty. It made sense to replace the components and keep the garage door intact. Frank

He told me the door balance was fine,yet he marked it as failed.He also failed the cables--they are stainless and I am sure they are Not worn. I called for a repair-man to replace my springs not a person to try to sell me other parts by bargaining with me on the cost of these additional parts. He was more of a salesman than a repairman. Hopefully the job was done right.
