I could not get my garage door to close. After checking to make sure nothing was in the way ,I called. I was given a window of 6 to 10 pm. I heard from the tech a little before 6 and he was there in minutes. Totally professional and super nice He showed me the correct position for the eye and presto it was fixed. He lubed the door for me and said it was under warranty. Thanks to Precision again for coming to my rescue

Jim Mantsch did a great job ! Diagnosed the problem relatively quickly and explained all the options. Garage Door needed a new opener and rollers. Did a lot of work in a very short time and had all the needed parts on the truck so there was no delay. I'd call them again if I had another problem.

Great job! Tech showed up on time and work was done quickly. All service/parts explained clearly before work done. Didn’t try to oversell. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 was phone associate pricing miscue. When asked directly, quoted $65-125+ per spring, and affirmed that labor was included in that price. Labor was actually $280 more. I’m ok with the price, just would have appreciated a clearer ballpark before tech arrived.

These guys were GREAT! From the sales lady, Julie the office phone staff to the installers that called ahead as requested. Everyone was very professional and cautious. Precision Door Service, Great service yesterday! Service attendant (Matt) did a good job explaining and repairing our door. The only point of concern was the cost of the repair - a bit pricey. I paid $640 for a new door spring assembly and $798 for new Belt Drive Opener + tax. Also, I did not receive a full military discount of 10%. Final price ($1467) paid, was granted only 4.5% off. Thanks.

I needed a garage door spring replaced. The tech was professional and inspected both doors and complete systems. He made several suggestions including I need to replace one of my openers. I oked him fixing $700 of issues on both doors. After he told me I needed to replace my opener because the shaft was loose and would soon fail. He indicated it could fail within the next week. I ordered a new opener from Lowes and installed it myself. When I took the old opener down I noticed the shaft was not loose. Upon closer inspection I found what I believe to be normal wear and tear. Nothing worse that my other opener. Now I wonder how much of that $700 I needed.

Needed to repair the outside keypad because the 9 volt battery contact fell apart. A new keypad was installed. V E R Y V E R Y E X P E N S I V E ! The installer was very nice and helpful and asked twice if there was anything else he could do.

First, why did I call Precision? When I saw that my garage door spring was broken all I could think about was that commercial you run with the sound of the spring breaking. Yep, that's me now. I called on a Sunday morning with the intentions of getting a Monday repair but to my surprise, Precision had a tech working Sunday and he could be at my house that afternoon. So far so good. He arrives, and before he tries to sell anything we have a nice chat about my system, how it works and what problems to look for. After showing me assorted issues with my garage door he replaced both springs, end rod bearings and the steel cables on both ends. Was it cheap? Nope, but I would rather pay the going rate for good service one time than pay less and have to have the problem come back. In the end the system was repaired by someone who knew what he was doing and I have had no problems with the door since that day.
