We have been OVERHEAD DOOR customers since 2005, 30 years. One of the two springs on the door broke last night. We called soon as OVERHEAD DOOR opened, to be told that the soonest they could send a tech was Dec 4th. We called PRECISION. PRECISION DOOR TECH Doug Surgener arrived right on time, early by a few minutes and checked the system over, discussed what needed to be done and replaced the springs. He was courteous, pleasant, and just plain nice. Great customer service, Doug.

Good service and tech was able to get part of the issue resolved thru warranty. But, the other issue required a new garage door opener. Precision's price was 4 to 7 times the cost of a quality brand from a big box store. He advised the products there arent as good as what Precision sells, but the price and cost of installation would have allowed for a new unit regularly. It pays to shop around. However, very happy with the service.

The technician, Bob, was very professional and courteous. My original problem was the door opener, but upon inspection, Bob explained what the cause of the problem. He also gave me the option if I wanted just a repair or replacement. My garage door of 16 years wasn't working properly. Upon completion of job, Bob explained how everything works. He removed everything and left the place clean.

After the hurricane and loss of power, I realized that my door wasn't able to stay up by itself. John came and adjusted it and explained how to re-attach it, in the future, when power is restored.
