We wanted to replace our garage door and opener and got quotes from 3 different companies. One quote was inflated with $800 of add-ons and we disregarded them. The other two were comparable, but we liked the responses that we got from Precision. Jim Stark was great to work with, even though we went back and forth a couple of times as we changed our mind on some options. They handled the permits for us, and were here for the install right on time, as promised. Robert and Sherman did a fantastic job on the install, AND had great taste in music. They were both friendly and professional. The work was done quickly and they left my garage spotless when they were done. We couldn’t have asked for a better job. We highly recommend the folks at Precision.

I had called to arrange for an estimate to have a garage door opener install. A technician arrived and provided me with an estimate that had 2 choices with prices. Me then ask me which one would I like to have done. I said I wasn't sure at the moment can you email me the estimate since it was on his iPad. He then attempted to coerce me to have the job done immediately. I told him I was getting estimates and would review them and make my choice. You still tried to talk me into doing it now and then proceeded to say that there would be a $75 charge for the estimate. When I spoke to their office personnel no mention was ever made that there would be a charged to come out to do an estimate. I had two other estimates free of charge and both were substantially cheaper for the same work. The technician then said he had to call his boss and tell him I refuse to pay the $75. He then told me that it would be tacked on if I took the job. He then sent me the email and left. I then looked up their company and noticed that they do have a service fee of $29.99 and a fuel charge of $20 when they come out for a service call if they do no work. That total was $49.95 not $75. I firmly believe that your technician was upset that he went out of his way to do an estimate and wasn't able to do the work so he wasted his time. My understanding that that's part of the job is to give free estimates. All companies do but apparently your company does not. Do not have them come out to do an estimate as they will try to coerce you to have it done right away. Their price was $3,000 and the other two quotes were for under $2,000 for the same work.

i am a new resident in Spring Hill and had an issue opening and closing my garage door electronically. I also had a problem that when it did work it was slamming shut. I saw the ad in the paper for Precision and gave them a call. I must say that the service I received from start to finish was excellent. The response time was quick, my service technician Brian was wonderful - he was polite, informative and gave me options on how to best correct the problems I was having with my garage door. Andy just left a short time ago. I Knew my garage opener was old and I knew I would need a new one, before he even arrived. He called me and was able to come early. He was pleasant and professional. He evaluated the situation and said if he could repair it he would, but said he would be unable to. i already knew this. I mentioned seeing the website and seeing garage door opener advertised and showing it was 1/2 hp for $349 installed. He explained that model and mentioned that it was one he would have to order in, that they do not have those in stock, so I asked him for something comparable. He provided me a quote. i felt it was reasonable. it was an upgrade motor wise, but I know if anything happened to my current garage door, that it could handle a replacement garage door. He was very neat on placement of things and did ask my opinion on the placement of some thing. I greatly appreciated that he respected being in someone else's home and not just running a wire wherever he felt like putting it. The customer is definitely considered. I will plan on doing business with this company and will request Andy for future service.

After reading all the positive reviews I decided to call Precision for my repair. Had new springs, motor and rollers replaced. Can barely hear the door open and close now. Also as senior citizens, we can rely on the WiFi app to insure we remembered to close the door.

I had some miscommunication between "Corporate" (I suspect) and the office in Clearwater, FL because I was given prices for what I was requesting to be repaired, and when the final estimate came in from the technician was $1900. Disregarding the add-ons, the price for replacing just the springs was still not anywhere near what I was originally told (by corporate?). The price for just the spring replacement was not what I was interested in and I stated thank you, but no. The tech later gave me a lower price for installing the two springs to be replaced. He said that was as low as he could do, that it was at cost. I then asked about the veteran's discount which corporate said Precision gave and I also stated that I printed out a $15 discount coupon to be used if I did have Precision do the work. Initially, I was told that I couldn't get that because the last lower cost estimate was at cost to the company. Reluctantly, I agreed to the $320 lower price just to get the work done and not have to get other estimates. Craig did the replacement; when I went into the garage after a while the garage door was open and Craig I guessed was in his truck. It was a while before Craig returned and he then stated that he had spoken to his manager and was allowed to offer me an even a lower price from the original $320 (down to $274). Not hesitating, I accepted the reasonable offer and am quite satisfied with the work completed and the workmanship, professionalism, and Craig's profuse apologies for the discrepancies that arose. I told him not to worry about it, that he was just the messenger and doing his job and did it well and timely. Thank you Craig and to the General Manage in the Clearwater, FL office.

Best service ever , My technician Jesse Burns arrived early and got right to work . Made his assessment and discussed with me his findings and recommendations. He explained in detail and answered all my questions. No pushy sales tactics at all . I was able to pick and choose what I wanted done. Jesse put my mind at ease and was super professional with a great demeanor . The job was done in a timely manner . And I am utterly amazed on how it looks and sounds so quiet now.
