All I needed was to have the opener repaired. The technician (who was a very pleasant fellow) came up with a price of just under $1,200.00 because he felt there was other items I needed, but I did not want them. So, I told him I was not going to do any repairs. Then he decided he could replace the "mother board" for $200 plus labor and I still said no. I paid the $49.95 service call and went online and found the "mother board" for $63.00 from the factory! Nice try, but no cigar.

The conversation started a little negative and shaky...demeanor of tech was not the most positive. But, after assessing the problem with the garage door everything change miraculously. My door was serviced 8-9 months previously and the tech did NOT make me aware of ALL the issues. So, to make it right the company turned on the warranty clause and fixed all past problems for "free" saving me over $1100 dollars, while fixing the new problem at a very fair price. I don't think or believe another garage company would do this. Kudo's to the management and the techs did an awesome job. I feel secure in knowing the work/service is under a 5 year warranty!!!

Bob & Arnold, did a great job explaining the problem with the door. they also gave me my options for the repairs . I decided to have them replace the complete opener system, they also corrected problems with the new torsion springs,that were installed last friday. 1, because there is no "0" as a choice! We have a warranty and they said that we can't get our door fixed because of "misuse". The door is not balanced and now is our fault that is broken. It's being working perfectly since we moved on October. Then, when we called to have our questions answered, the customer services representative hang up on me. My wife called and the representative spoke over her, was rude and very mean. Wanted to speak with a manager and after few tries,y wife got in touch with one, to just tell her that they will address the customer service representative with "coaching". And "sorry" we can't fix your door unless you pay for balancing, all the parts and services out of your pocket because your warranty doesn't cover "it". More than $600.00. Really!!!! No, no and no. That is not right. Fraud!

He provided several options and warranty proposals for my review and allowed me the time needed to discuss with my wife the next course of action. Bob B. was our tech today. He was personable and professional. He got to the root of the problem and did a good job explaining what was wrong. He was patient and answered all my questions which helped me make the decision of how I wanted to proceed. This was an unexpected situation for which I was not prepared. They were able to work out a payment plan for me which really helped me out. Once the work was completed Bob showed us how everything worked. The 7 year warranty was also a big plus. There was a huge difference in how our door functioned once the proper opener was installed. Thank you so much. I would definitely recommend Precision Door to my friends and family.

5 stars. I had 2 men out to repair my garage door, which I thought would be a fairly quick fix. But it turned out to be a complex problem and they were very up- front about the problem and cost to fix it. Very courteous and they fixed my door after about 1 & 1/2 hours. Needed springs, rollers, cables, gears,etc.

Saw your TV ads and when my garage door broke, I knew who to call. Your 5 star rating, weekend appointments and no charge if I didn't want anything done, even for the tech to come out to my house, made it a no-brainer. I'm a retired Operating Engineer, so Bob and I could communicate on the same level. He explained everything and told me exactly what my problem was and why my old opener failed. I'm glad I just didn't run out and purchase a new opener as it too would have failed due to having bad springs. I authorized new spring replacement and eventually after seeing Bob's expertise I decided to go with a new opener also. I was quoted a fair price and am happy I had it done by Precision. I have a 9 year warranty on my opener and a 3 year warranty on my springs which is unheard of. My kudo's to Bob for his knowledge and skills. A 5 star rating is given for this transaction and if I could give more stars I would go higher! Thanks Bob!
