Mr.Sadehgi, I am sorry to hear about the delays in your services for your appointment set up for the 22nd. The appointment window was scheduled between the hours of 2 and 4pm, which means an arrival anytime between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Unfortunately, considering the fact that we are a member of the service industry and visit many clients during our day with unknown troubles with their door(s), it is impossible for us to guarantee an exact arrival time, so the arrival window is the best we can do. The delay you experienced was as a result of this scheduling condition and we are sorry this was not acceptable for you. Additionally, with the looming, potential threat of the upcoming tropical storm Isaac, many clients are interested in having services completed ASAP on their homes. We are doing our very best to accommodate everyone's needs and our schedules are swollen with our local neighbors that also need our help. We did call to notify of the delay and, at that time, our clients are more than welcome to accept the adjusted time frame, reschedule, or, though not our preferred option, contact another company that may be able to provide sooner assistance. We are happy that you chose to remain on our schedules, but unfortunately we could not satisfy you 100% with our time frame or calls to notify of delay. Beyond these options, there is little more we are able to do and we are sorry you weren't happy with our team. As for your concern regarding prices, please understand that our customer service representatives that provide scheduling for all our our clients are not the same service technicians that visit your home. By allowing our technicians to fully focus on their appointments, we can maximize the number of clients we can assist and prevent distractions, therefore providing the best, uninterrupted service available. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for us to assist in diagnosing your issue prior to our visit. Our pricing was provided based on your diagnosis of your door's issue: "a broken spring." The pricing provided based on your diagnosis was accurate, however our technician determined, to safely repair your door to avoid injury to himself, you or your family, and potential damage to property, two springs would be required. This is unfortunate, but we are unable to know exactly what your door will need without seeing the door or knowing specifically what will be required to repair it. At this point, all clients are welcome to decline our recommendations, which you did, and there was ZERO charge for our visit since you were obviously disappointed with our services by this point. Since we did not provide any services for you at your home, all we can do at this point is apologize that our visit did not meet or exceed any expectations you had. If there is anything further we can do to help you out, we would be eager to hear from you and try and help in any way. All of our client's are extremely important to us and we value every one of them. Please don't hesitate to call any member of our management at 727-524-0001 or by email, clearwater@precisiondoor.net.

Repairman spoke with my tenant and refused to repair door, told tenant door needed to be replaced, old springs, cables ect. Springs were replaced approximately 5 years and cables within the past year. Quoted $1300 for replacement, wow. Believe he was trying to pull a fast one. The least he could have done is evaluate the current problem and a estimate to repair. I suggested it was the screw drive carriage but according to my tenant, (a highly respected p.e. lineman) he could have cared less.

Mr Fears, I am very sorry to hear that you were disappointed in our companies ability to service your garage door issue. All of our technicians are certified and trained, and are very knowledgeable when it comes to repair of existing garage doors. Existing garage doors that have extensive wear and tear can be problematic when repairing, and technicians will always recommend replacement of the door if they feel that the repair cost is too high to justify, and/or if they feel the repair could still leave the door unsafe. We pride ourselves on being able to evaluate the customers need and will always give our customers our best recommendation. Garage doors are the largest opening in a home, and are responsible for protecting the home in storm situations. Any door installed prior to March 15th of 2012 may not meet the Florida Building Code or the code enforced by local municipalities. It is our responsibility to inform the customer if we believe that a new garage door would be a better option then repairing the existing door that may have extensive wear and tear. Again, I am very sorry that you were not 100% satisfied with our free visit, and hope that you have found an alternative that best suits your current need. Sincerely, Eric M. Taylor General Manager
