We called in the morning and were operational in just a couple hours! Our technician Tim was very knowledgeable and professional and serviced our garage door. I had a very disappointing experience with Precision Garage Door Service. The technician who came out quoted me an outrageous $3,190 to replace my garage motor, claiming that my springs were also bad. He said if I only wanted to replace the springs, it would cost $1,490 for the springs and a bracket. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion from another company, and I’m so glad I did. The second company quickly diagnosed the real issue—it wasn’t even the motor! The problem was solved by simply lubricating the springs and removing a bolt that had caused the system to jam. They fixed everything for just $145. Needless to say, Precision was trying to scam me. I would not recommend them to anyone, as they were dishonest and attempted to take advantage of the situation. Beware and always get a second opinion!
