John, the tech came on time and was polite. He told me that I needed new parts and was able to fix it that day - not return in a week because he didn't have the parts on the truck, etc. It took him maybe 1 hour and 15 minutes to resolve the issue - diagnosis plus fixing my garage door. He told me what needed to be replaced but I don't remember what they were exactly - so I can't answer the second half of the question below.

I had a broken bracket on the garage door opener and entered a service request on the web site. I was contacted promptly by phone and service technician appointment was made within two hours. Technician Blake Bailey arrived at the appointed time and was friendly and professional. He replaced the springs and rollers and the operator bracket in less than an hour. Our 11 year old garage door and opener operate like a new installation. Precision Garage Door Service of Clearwater achieves a standard of professionalism and service that I wish others would try to achieve.

Very pleased! Jeremy the tech who serviced my garage door was so kind, friendly explained what needed to be done, not pushy at all! I wasn't able to fix everything right away but Jeremy fixed my garage door...works perfect. The other minor repairs will follow later. My garage door opener quit working on a Sunday. I called Precision and they said they could be out that afternoon to look at it. Ryan Goodpasture arrived between the times the dispatcher indicated and replaced the unit that day in just a hour. What service!!! Everything was covered under warranty - no hassles whatsoever. We were very happy with the services we received. Our technician didn't try to sell us repairs we didn't need, but let us know what was causing our immediate issue, as well as some things that should be replaced in the future as they were showing wear (20 year old opener). We were able to make decisions that were right for us, and are very happy with the repair as well as the installation of a new keypad.
