Called for a broken spring. I would first say that the service techs that were sent were extremely nice and courteous and made the repairs as needed. I absolutely felt that the pricing was way too high! Never expected to pay $740 for spring replacements and not even the top line springs. Granted that the labor was included but springs just don't cost that much! A door sensor appeared to go bad at the same time which I said I would replace and looked up pricing for an OEM replacement $39. They ended up replacing it at no cost but their invoice price for the sensor was $240 which again they did not charge me for but clearly showing that there price structure is way out of line.

Old Precision PDS 4700 Merantec opener suddenly would not close unless the wired wall control was held until the door closed. Serviceman Michael Freeman came and after assessing the problem called the office. They told him to replace the opener with a Genie opener. Michael was very competent and friendly. He replaced the opener and safety sensors and wiring. The new opener works well. The office told Michael to treat this as a warranty repair and did not charge me anything. I could not be happier with this service. Thank you very much.

As I was backing out of my garage I failed to notice that the door was not up all the way and crashed into it. Thanks to service technician Chris Johnson for saving the day. He arrived promptly and was courteous and professional. After assessing the situation he was able to open the garage door enough for me to get my vehicle out and then was able to close and secure it. Unfortunately for me it was beyond repair and I will need to replace the very old door, but thanks to Precision my new door will be installed in less than 48 hours on Christmas Eve no less! Thank you!

Like they say “Garage doors never break at a good time”. Neither did ours. Precision lost no time helping us. Cody Johnson, Precision’s Technician, did a thorough assessment of our problem. He rapidly located the issue and offered a smart affordable solution. Since our opener was quite old we both decided to inspect the whole opener system for potential problems. Cody was very knowable of the working and construction of our old opener. He developed menu of repairs and estimated costs. Every item was well thought out and a technically sound assessment. We agreed on the repairs needed and Cody made them on the spot. ZERO pressure from Cody or Precision Staff members to do more than we wanted. That was good! My wife has her garage back and is happy, so I’m happy. Cody is a professional technician, a personable guy, and a great credit to Precision. Keep him- Good help is hard to find!
