I needed a torsion spring replaced. I’m thinking $350-400, yea right! At the end of repair I was in for $1480.00 for a TORSION spring, hear me, a spring. Wth did they install. We called them to discuss the price that we researched and found out we could have gotten parts for $130-150 max and they charged us over $1200 in parts. How do they sleep at night while ripping people off. When we called, they claimed they will refund one of the springs (granted they should be sold in pairs like everywhere else) so it’s not really a refund but even refunding half of one does not make it right! I paid over $1400 and that is extreme and a a repair that is excessive. This was not the first time either, the same thing was done to us in 2018 at which time I didn’t even check but this time… I could’ve paid an extra $500 and got my entire garage reinstalled. Jonathan and Matt were polite and figured out right away what repair was necessary for my garage door opener. However, they quoted me a very high price to replace the 2 spring coils and the belt drive for my garage door. After I obtained other quotes, Precision Door agree to lower my repair cost and I allowed the repair work to be done. Your company's business practice is borderline price gouging and I would not recommend your company to my relatives and friends unless your company improve this aspect of your business practice. A 10++ for the professional and friendly service Arnold and Stefan gave us to reprogram our garage door opener, remotes, and vehicles. And Arnold was very patient as we wrote down all the instructions on “how to” the reprogramming procedure. Highly-no-HIGHLY recommend Precision. They installed our new garage door and hardware a year ago and they continue to raise the bar on world class service. Simply put, none better, they beat the competition hands down!!
